Libidus Maxidus and erectile dysfunction
Good day, readers!
Damn! I just read that no less than 18 million men in the USA over 20 years old have erectile dysfunction issues. I place no little faith in this stat; reasearchers at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health are no slackers when it comes to health issues.
As to the causes of ED, there are few surprises. Indeed, they're the norm, which I have written about in previous entries of the Libidus Maxidus blog.
Just so, here they are again: ED is strongly linked with age, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and a lack of physical activity. The findings also show that lifestyle changes, such as increased physical activity and measures to prevent cardiovascular disease and diabetes, may also prevent decreased erectile function. The study is published in the February 1, 2007, issue of the American Journal of Medicine.
And I quote: "Physicians should be aggressive in screening and managing middle-aged and older patients for erectile dysfunction, especially among patients with diabetes or hypertension," said Elizabeth Selvin, PhD, MPH, lead author of the study and a faculty member in the Bloomberg School of Public Health's Department of Epidemiology. "The associations of erectile dysfunction with diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors may serve as powerful motivators for men who need to make changes in their diet and lifestyle."
For the study, the research team analyzed data from 2,126 men who participated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Men who reported being "sometimes able" or "never able" to get and keep an erection were categorized as having erectile dysfunction, while men who reported being "always or almost always able" or "usually able" were not.
Well, we know who we are...
Overall, those with erectile dysfunction in the United States numbered 18 percent. Those 70 and older, naturally, were much more likely to report having erectile dysfunction compared to only 5 percent in men between the ages of 20 and 40.
Not surprising, roughly half of all men in the study with diabetes also had erectile dysfunction. And, almost 90 percent of all men with erectile dysfunction had at least one risk factor for cardiovascular disease, including diabetes, hypertension, having poor cholesterol levels or being a current smoker. Men with erectile dysfunction were also less likely to have engaged in vigorous physical activity within the month prior to participation in the study.
Like I said, no surprises. The real news is the number of men with erectile dysfunction. I really wasn't aware how prevalent is was.
We men have enough on our plate without having ED stress. I know I do. However, the wife is becoming more understanding as time goes by, and her desire is waning, also. What a relief!!!
I've been waiting for that moment to occur for a LONG time now. It's ground-breaking news, because now I can spend more time on the water doing what I do best: fishing.
Well, in a nutshell, that's why the world has Libidus Maxidus and Viagra, etc...
And with that, dear readers (all 12 of you), I wish you good health, as usual!

Hi all!
Okay, so I'm a few days late with the results of the Maxidus poll; lighten up, have a cup of coffee, drink a beer, whatever...
Readers must realize that there was no real math behind this poll, statistically speaking, so don't climb all over me because of that.
I polled 128 users of Libidus/Maxidus for a look at how the new product, Maxidus, compares with the old, Libidus.
And, now, the results:
* Of that number, 78 were convinced that Maxidus was superior, albeit, ever so slightly.
* 46 of those polled stated there was no difference.
* 4 actually had the nerve to state that Libidus was better! Go figure...
Cool
And there you have it folks. Now then, I've been asked by readers to state WHY maxidus users felt like the product was improved, so stay tuned, I'll post some of the responses very soon (yeah, right...)
Read you soon,
Old Man Maxidus Al
Hey readers!
Yupper, it's true. I'm about to post the results of a Libidus Maxidus poll that I've been taking since Maxidus first arrived.
Call it Libidus vs. Maxidus, if you will. No big surprises thus far, so this is not going to be a gala event by any means.
However, it is kind of interesting for those of us who use Libidus Maxidus or Maxidus Libidus; you choose...
Anywho...stay tuned; I should have the results posted within the next 4 to 5 days, depending on the fish: if they're biting, I'm outta here. If not, okay, I'll post ASAP.
Good health!
Al
Hey readers!
Ahh, Valentines Day is fast approaching; be ready guys and gals. Stock up on your favorite booster. I'm hopeful that your favorite includes Libidus Maxidus.
Man, I used to absolutely dread the "V" day. Stressed out would be a very mild term for what I felt. I knew that my wife expected the usual: wine, dine, and home in bed by 9:00 to do the Wild Thing.
Naturally, I was fine right up to the time of the Wild Thing. That's when it all went to hell. My wife, after putting up with this kind of bedroom behavior for quite some time, began to get the hint: I was feeling pressured.
The gods love the woman; she no longer expected sex after the wining and dining.
But that was let down, actually, so I figured I would do something about it. That's when I began testing various ED/Libido meds--both herbal and synthetic.
And, so, I found Libidus Maxidus. I've found it to be the most reliable of the herbals out there in herbal land. So far, so good.
So, now, I have a different attitude toward the V day. I don't mind it nearly as much as I did. I still fail now and then, but that's to be expected, given my age and a few health issues, which shall not be named.
Don't be fooled into thinking that Libidus Maxidus is going to work for you everytime. It doesn't. For example, if you're dog tired, forget it. If you've been drinking heavily, forget it. If you're under a lot of stress, forget it. Those times are best for Libidus Maxidus cocktail: Libidus Maxidus and Tadalafil.
Certain folks don't like it when I write such things about Libidus Maxidus, but it's the truth as I see it. And the truth should not be withheld for the sake of dollars.
Okay...off the soapbox, AL!
I do really wish all of my readers, all 10 or 12 of you, a damn good V day.
The fish are biting, so I'm out of here!
Al
